What time is check-in?
Between 5 pm and 8 pm. Outside this window, please contact us so we can arrange your arrival.
What time is check-out?
Please free the room by 11 am.
What languages are spoken?
French and English. English is not our mother tongue — please be kind!
Can I leave my luggage?
Yes, we can keep your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready or have activities on departure day. We accept no liability in case of loss.
Wi-Fi & Internet
Wi-Fi is available: we have fibre internet and Wi-Fi repeaters for consistent coverage throughout the house, despite the stone walls.
Which is the nearest airport?
Toulouse-Blagnac and Castres-Mazamet. From Toulouse it is about 1 hour by car, or by train to Albi.
Which is the nearest train station?
Albi. Depending on your arrival time, we can arrange your transfer.
How far are you from Albi?
15 minutes by car from the centre of Albi and the Sainte-Cécile cathedral. We are in Saussenac, about 1 hour from Toulouse.
Do you serve dinner?
Yes. The table d’hôtes takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm: a meal shared with your hosts — starter, main course, cheese, dessert and two glasses of wine — at €26 per person, booked 48 hours in advance. On the other evenings, a dinner tray (starter, main, dessert) is left on the table: you dine whenever suits you.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, homemade breakfast is included: bread, homemade jams and cake, homemade yoghurts, fruit — sometimes from the garden —, cereals, cheese and hot drinks… and depending on the day, pancakes, waffles or crêpes.
Do you have a family room?
Yes, the Antoinette room sleeps up to 4, with two separate sleeping areas. Baby cot and bath free on request.
Do you have a room with a hot tub or sauna?
Yes, the Marie Anne suite (55 m²) has a whirlpool bath with massage function and a private sauna.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 21 days before arrival; between 20 and 2 days, 50% of the stay is due; from 1 day before or no-show, 100%. Details in our terms of sale.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit for stays under 4 nights. From 4 nights, a 30% deposit confirms the booking.
Can we come without a car?
Yes. Albi is 1 hour from Toulouse by train, and depending on your arrival time we can arrange your transfer from Albi station — see our services.
How do I get the best rate?
Book direct on this site or by phone: you avoid platform fees and we can handle special requests. Check availability.
Do you accept pets?
No, pets are not allowed in the rooms.
Is there a car park?
Yes, free parking is available on site, within the property.
Are you open all year round?
We are open from late March to late November. The house is closed during winter.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes — a small above-ground pool, child-safe: just right for cooling off in summer. The one-hectare garden also has a swing, a boules pitch and a ping-pong table.
