The story behind the Marie Anne suite
The suite is named after Princess Marie Anne of Hohenzollern. Born in the early 17th century into an influential aristocratic family, she became Countess of Isembourg by marriage — then chose to flee her husband and took refuge for several years here in the Tarn, at La Longagne, before retiring to a convent in Albi.
